Most Reverend Robert W. Finn Thine Eyes is politically conscious without being partisan. It is factual without being preachy. It is sobering but very joyful. I would like all Catholic adults to see Thine Eyes; but it is also perfectly appropriate for high school or even middle school students. It tells a simple but profound story which has been largely pushed to the side by the commercial press: how hundreds of thousands of men, women, and children make a challenging spiritual pilgrimage to our nation’s capitol - year after year - out of love for human life, and come back home more committed than ever to change our country.
Judie Brown I have just finished watching Thine Eyes. Other than the fact that the documentary brought tears to my eyes at least four times, I can honestly testify to the fact that this documentary is one of the most inspiring, uplifting, honest presentations of the true sacrifice of pro-life Americans, their dedication, their faith and their ability to change the world I have ever seen. You did an incredible job! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Your film is pure joy! It's absolutely perfect in every way. So uplifting and full of faith, hope and charity! Aren't the students energizing?
Ron Montgomery Each January, an army descends on Washington, D.C. They arrive armed with rosaries, signs, bullhorns, and hymns. Their battle plan avoids damage to the bridges and buildings of the city. Instead, this army inflicts pain on the conscience of members of the ruling class. They remind the politicians, jurists, policy makers, and media of their complicity in the murder of unborn children, and it makes the elite quite uncomfortable.
Troy Newman, “I have been to the March for Life numerous times in the last twenty years, but viewing Thine Eyes made me feel like it was my first time. Encouraging, energizing and mobilizing the pro-life movement! The producers of Thine Eyes allow us to see the forest through the trees through an amazing display of the nation’s largest and longest running march on Washington. They have undertaken the monumental task of relaying an untellable story and completing the work with powerful insights. I sat on the edge of my chair feeling like I was back in Washington, DC marching for life.” Fr. Matthew Habiger OSB Thine Eyes successfully captures the spirit of the annual March for Life in D.C. and compares the pro-life marches of the 21st Century to the Civil Rights marches of the 1960's. Its focus allows young people to discover the meaning of the "naked public square" and the urgent need to engage their culture with the values of the Gospel. This documentary strongly motivates the viewer to become part of the pro-life movement!
Rich Davis Thine Eyes beautifully and gently describes the problem that is killing this country. Thine Eyes highlights the malpractice performed by the media… that is antithetical to the concept of journalism. Watch this film and you will see why newspapers are going out of business faster than shady mortgage companies. Thine Eyes is a powerful film for the pro-life movement, but it is also a magnificent piece of journalism in its own right. Investigating the refusal of the media to do its job -- to report actual events for starters -- is as big a service as fighting for the rights of the unborn. Thine Eyes is well done and well worth your time to watch...and share!
I watched it and then showed it to my Dad and whole family. It is outstanding and we are delighted to help you spread the word about it. Thanks for the good things that you do! Keep it up!
